Valking Beddengoed cares deeply about your privacy. The effective date for these terms and conditions is July 22, 2025; the publication of a new version cancels all previous versions. Web store software
Shopify
Our online store is developed using Shopify software. Personal data you provide to us for the purposes of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obligated to implement appropriate security measures under our agreement with them. These security measures include SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified credit card processor. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services. Shopify adheres to applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies; your data may be processed in the United States.
Web hosting
In Image Web Design
We purchase web hosting and email services from In Beeld Webdesign. In Beeld Webdesign processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. In Beeld Webdesign has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. In Beeld Webdesign is obligated to maintain confidentiality under the confidentiality agreement.
Email and mailing lists
In Image Web Design
We use the services of In Beeld Webdesign for our regular business email communications. This provider has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. In Beeld Webdesign does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email communications confidentially.
Payment processors

We use the Klarna platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We use your data solely for the purposes of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you place. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date—other than at your request—we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.

You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you personally or is identifiable to you, processed by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to the email address we have on file for you. Right to object and other rights
